Per SMS bekam ich die Nachricht, dass Matto wieder die Leopardin ‚Jane‘ gefunden hat. Sie war für 3 Monate verschwunden. Nun versucht er herauszufinden, was aus ihren Babys geworden ist.

Hier ist es heiss, noch viel zu trocken, aber stürmisch. Ich denke heute Nacht kommt ein kräftiges Gewitter. Wäre schön für die Tiere, aber schwierig für den Weg morgen. Wir sind auf der Suche nach einem altbekannten Löwenrudel in der einsamen Kalahari. Wenn die Pfannen voller Wasser sind, wird es gefährlich!

Nun beginnt die traditionell erste Filmproduktion des Jahre in der Zentralkalahari. Ich habe viele neue Technik und Kameras dabei und hoffe meine Protagonisten wieder zu finden. Die nächsten Wochen werden sehr spannend…
